
Elion Wong
FOUNDER & PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Growing up in Victoria, Elion has witnessed firsthand the strength of the local volleyball community. He began coaching while still in high school and is now dedicated to giving back to the sport and community that helped shape his journey. He has over 10 years of coaching experience and is currently the Assistant Coach for the Camosun College Women’s Volleyball Team. His coaching background includes roles as Assistant Coach for the Camosun Chargers Men’s Volleyball Team, Head Coach for VVA, NCVBC in Portland, and Momentum Volley (current), as well as Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Chargers Men’s Team.
As a player, Elion was a three-time high school Provincial Champion with Oak Bay High School and a member of Team BC. In club volleyball, he won a 14U Volleyball Canada National Championship, two Provincial Championships, and a bronze medal at the 16U Volleyball Canada Nationals. At the post-secondary level, he competed for Capilano University and later Camosun College, where he earned the Team Leadership Award, became the all-time program digs leader, and helped capture four PacWest titles and a CCAA National Championship.
Outside of volleyball, he is also a rehab- and movement-based chiropractor at Total Body Health Cordova. He specializes in functional movement assessments, injury mitigation, and rehabilitation.
