Our Story

Peak Performance Volleyball was created to give young athletes in Victoria a place to learn, develop, compete, and build meaningful connections through the sport.

The program is led by Elion Wong, who discovered volleyball at Lansdowne Middle School and went on to play for Oak Bay High, Victoria Volleyball Association, the Team BC provincial program, and Camosun College. His teams earned multiple championships, including three high school provincial titles, Division 1 Tier 1 provincial and national medals with VVA, and four provincial championships and a national title with Camosun College.

Volleyball has always been more than competition for Elion—it’s been a source of lifelong friendships and community. Those relationships continue today through coaching and recreational play, and they inspire the culture he aims to build within Peak Performance Volleyball.

Elion began coaching in high school and has continued ever since. He now coaches with Momentum Volley and serves as the Assistant Coach for the Camosun Chargers Women’s Volleyball Team.

Beyond the court, Elion is a movement-based chiropractor at Total Body Health. He holds a Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine, a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology, and a Bachelor’s in Human Biology. His background in biomechanics, injury prevention, and motor learning shapes the technical and developmental approach of the program.

Having grown up in this community, Elion wanted to create more opportunities for youth at every stage—from first-time players to athletes pursuing collegiate volleyball. Peak Performance Volleyball exists to provide high-quality training, a positive environment, and a place to build lasting connections.
